CRI- Color Rendering Index
Defined by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), the Color Rendering Index (CRI), of a light source is a measure of how natural the colors of objects illuminated by it appear.
It is expressed by values ranging from 0 to 100, and depending on the type of application and installation environment, it is recommended to use different indices.
ITL offers color temperatures from 2700K to 6500K, 3 Step MacAdam, and color rendering indexes (CRI) >80 as standard and on request >90.
Special CRI for Meat and Vegetables
The M6 series, with high lighting quality, focuses mainly on red colors. By emphasizing the spectra of red and white, and adjusting the correct color coordination, the M6 series prevents the "yellowing" of white, thus making reds more true to their color.
The M3 series, emphasizes 3 primary colors of the light spectrum, specifically blue green and red .This allows for maximum color quality based on general lighting coordinates (ANSI C78 377 MacAdam 3 step).
